5/1 & 6/5 & 7/3 Playdates & upcoming HIP get-togethers

July 3rd is the last time we will be meeting in Ushita at the park and then at the PIIC language center.

• Join us on August 7th at Miyajima near the beach for the SunDance festival if you are free) There is no get together in September. 

• October 2nd (1st Sunday) - we'll be meeting at the Asa Zoo, please join us if you can. 

• October 30th (Sunday) we will also get together for a costume party in the Sorazaya park in the city center- Please join us!

Meet at Ushita Koen first for a bit of outdoor playtime if the weather is fine:

Our playdates in May 1st & June 5th will be at the same place: Premia International Immersion Center in Ushita.

We will be meeting for an hour of outdoor play in the main park in the town of Ushita (located between the main Hiroshima station and the Ushita Big Wave Higashi-ku Sports Center (also Astram monorail tram station stop of same name).

If you are on the main road heading from the station to the Big Wave and see Fresta supermarket, turn right down that road before Fresta and turn right again after a few blocks, when you see the Hiroshima bank on your left. Two streets down, take another left and you should soon see the Ushita-Koen park. We will be in the park from 11-12 noon* (as long as the weather is fine).

After an hour in the park, we will head inside to the Premia language center & cafe facility located nearby that has been kindly offered for us to use.

The 1st floor at Premia has an area that we can eat- so please bring a dish to share for the potluck. The center also has a great, relaxing cafe where we can order coffees and other drinks if we want, and enjoy a quiet chat while the kids play downstairs (as long as there is a parent or two downstairs to oversee the kids).


There are no fees for using this facility or as usual, it is always free to join the HIP playdate.
